Kevin started his career as a litigator under Senator John Cornyn, when he was the Attorney General for the State of Texas.

After three years as a Texas litigator, Kevin moved to the Bay Area where his wife was doing her postdoctoral work. On September 7, 2001, Kevin interviewed with Robert Mueller for a position as a U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California. He also interviewed for a position with the U.S. Department of Justice – Immigration and Naturalization Service. Days later, September 11th happened, and Robert Mueller was called to lead the FBI.

Kevin accepted the position with the Department of Justice INS, which began his career as an immigration lawyer. He worked as a terror prosecutor for six years and has been in private practice since then.

Currently, Kevin has one of the largest H-2B practices in the U.S. His practice has evolved from I-9 compliance and criminal immigration defense, into helping businesses grow and maintain a workforce. In the past two decades, there has been a deficit of craft artisans in vocational trades. Kevin’s practice finds solutions to fill these positions such as landscape architects, tree farmers, skilled roofers, plasterers, as well as highly educated professionals.
